Terms and Conditions

ALLEN JOHNSON RENTAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS:

 

By signing receipt customer agrees to have read and understands the following terms and conditions that apply to all our rental garments.

RENTAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS: 

At least a  $70 DOWN PAYMENT is required on each tuxedo reservation.  An order will not be processed without a down payment.  The attendants mailing or calling in their measurements will be asked for the same down payment.  

Damage and Handling Fee (mandatory and non-refundable) – A $10 non-refundable and mandatory Damage and Handling Fee is automatically added to your rental. This fee covers minor repairs to the rental, and the costs associated with the inspection, quality control, and processing of the rental.  If we determine that the rental has damage beyond repair, or if the rental is not returned, you will be responsible for the full replacement cost of the items.

Pick-Up and Final Fitting – After their original reservation, all attendants will be asked to come into the store for a final fitting prior to the affair date (normally todays before affair).  All attendants should try on their tuxedos on their final fitting date to assure a proper fit.

Replacement Costs – If we determine that a rental is damaged beyond repair, or if a rental is not returned, the client will be charged the full replacement cost of the items. See replacement costs below:

Coat – $300, Pants – $100, Shirt – $50 ,Tie – $30, Vest – $65, Cufflinks – $20, Shoes – $65, Pocket Square – $15, Garment Bag – $20

Rush Orders – (Covers rush processing. Overnight shipping charges may incur for next day rentals).  All orders placed less than 7 days prior to the scheduled event date are subject to a $30 rush order fee.  An order is considered placed only when there are measurements and at least a $70 down payment is placed on a ticket.

Change Orders –  Style changes MUST be made at least 10 days prior to event.  Each style change to an existing ticket made less than 10 days prior to the scheduled delivery date is subject to a $25 change fee.  

Returns/Late Fees – All rentals are scheduled to be due back the first business day following your event.  Please return all rental garments in the garment bag given.  Any rental not returned by the close of business on the scheduled return date is subject to a $30 a day late return fee.

Cancellation/No Shows – Any rental cancelled less than 14 days prior to scheduled delivery date is subject to a $70 cancellation fee.  If a client fails to cancel a rental prior to the event date, then the client agrees to forfeit any and all amounts paid.

Property left in rental –  Please check all garments for personal items.  We are not responsible for the lost of any personal property left in the pockets or the garment bags of returned rental merchandise.  

Taxes – Customer is responsible for all taxes associated with the rental in addition to the applicable fees that may incur (damage and handling fees, rush order fees, late fees and replacement costs).  Taxes are extra and cannot be waived.

Limitation and Liability – Our total liability is limited to the rental charges actually paid by the client, for any claim or litigation arising from or related to the rental garments.  The Company (Allen Johnson) shall have no liability for any special, incidental and/or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with the rental, purchase and/or use of the Merchandise.

Rental Refund/Return Policy –   Refunds will be issued in the form of payment originally received. Exceptions – NO cash refunds will be given unless it’s a same day cancellation.  All other cash refunds will be given in the form of a check or refunded to a check debit card.  

RETAIL TERMS AND CONDITIONS: –   All sales are FINAL.  Exchanges applicable within 7 days only when accompanied by original receipts, packaging and tags.  No credits or cash refunds will be given.
